Herbariae's subtle lines were inspired by five flowers: the poppy, narcissus, lotus, dahlia, and thistle. Chosen for the power of their evocative yet delicate beauty, they adorn each piece in this collection. Designed in the style of herbaria and works of ancient botany, within stylized margins and bordered with a black line, the images stand out in the contrast of black and white or in the heart of soft colors – pink, yellow, green, and peacock blue –, reminiscent of watercolor painting.

For this new porcelain collection developed by Vista Alegre, Christian Lacroix has imagined a decoration with tropical exuberance. Flowers, feathers, ferns and fireflies pose like a baroque herbarium over a white porcelain set with cutouts and friezes, evoking the english embroidery on the pristine petticoats worn by the beautiful women from Salvador da Bahia.
